It is common for people to think that driving a pure electric vehicle on a rainy day is a dangerous thing because you are mixing water and electricity on a heavy machine. And the answer is it is safe to do it, even under various weather conditions. However, you can still take notes to make the driving journey more pleasant.
1) When the road surface water < approx. 20cm, please drive it slowly;
2) When the road surface water > approx. 20cm, please change lanes or stop driving; force passing is strictly prohibited;
3) Please stop the vehicle when the surface water > 30cm;
4) When it rains heavily, please control the speed to around 10km/h or pull over to prevent potential safety problems;
5) In more prominent rainy seasons, please do more proactive check-outs of the vehicle;
6) Make sure the charging port lid is well covered to keep liquid or other things out; if not, please clean and dry it in time;
7) The above items will prevent the vehicle from malfunctioning due to insulation problems;
8）Warm tips:
Driving": if surface water > approx. 20cm, look out for any alarms on the dashboard popping out; please stop and check out the truck immediately if an insulation alarm appears;
Parking": Park the truck in an open space; it is forbidden to park in low-lying places, under trees, under high-voltage lines, fire, above 20cm puddles, and on other dangerous roads;
Charging": keep the charger and base dry, and watch out for burnt signs. Outdoor charging while in the rain is prohibited.
