Regeneration Failure Of QINGLING Euro 6 Light Duty Trucks

With the limited case feedback we got from our customers, we analyze them as much as possible and expect potential users to find those troubleshooting processes helpful once anything similar happens to you.

 

Situation:

Light duty truck 100P model with engine 4KH1CN6LB, produced in 2021, suddenly failed at regeneration while the engine shook, and white smoke came out.

 

DTC:

P246385--DPF overload

P2463F0--DPF close to overload

P2BAF00--Driver guidance system alarm

 

Troubleshoot:

General checkout:

The carbon smoke content is 37g, the disassembled DPF is in good condition, still not able to regenerate after cleaning; the engine speed is up to 1100 rpm, T4 \T5 temperature is normal.

Exhaust system checkout:

First, install the defective exhaust assembly onto another same model, the regeneration is done successfully;

After the carbon smoke content is burned below 5g, the DPF data is back to normal; then install back to the original truck, it still cannot be regenerated with low engine speed.

Engine checkout:

Engine intake and exhaust system are both clean with no visible coking; EGR valve is not stuck, and EGR cooling pipe is in the latest state.

 

Solution:

Replace the throttle, then examine the engine harness;

Replace the air flow sensor, DTC disappears, and the regeneration completes.
