We received a case from our users who had a problem with the 6WG1-TCG62 engine during 278598km. The driver claimed that the auxiliary water tank cover flipped out, also the overflow of the antifreeze kept going, and the engine temperature was getting too high, with the truck overloading and climbing up.
1. Check for any leakage on the engine, intercooled water tank, auxiliary water tank, etc.
2. See if the fan works well, any interference or stuck in.
3. Replace the auxiliary water tank cover, and add some antifreeze to see if the abnormal temperature issue is still there when driving the hillside road.
4. After disassembling the coupling, a heat sensor in the middle that fell off; the truck works fine after the coupling replacement.
