Even though there might be other causes for the loss of engine efficiency, we have gathered a few common signs for you to check.
1. Start the vehicle, and see whether the check engine light on the dashboard is on. If it comes on, decipher the diagnostic code with the IDSS, and maintain it according to the diagnostic code.
2. Check the air filter element and replace it if necessary.
3. Check whether the pipeline from the turbocharger to the engine intake manifold cracks, and whether the clamp is loose. If necessary, replace the line, and tighten the clamp.
4. Check the fuel quality, and replace it if necessary.

5. Check the oil pressure by examining whether the oil pump gets worn out. It needs to create proper pressure for the oil to flow into the engine. For example, conducting an oil pipe from the fuel tank, entering the manual fuel pump to a high-pressure fuel pump, tightening the clamp, releasing the pipe air, and starting the vehicle to see if the malfunction is gone. If so, replace the damaged fuel filter element.
